About Madame Destiny
Madame Destiny is a Pragmatic Play slot released on 12 July 2018, on a grid of five reels and three rows carrying ten fixed paylines. The setting is a fortune teller's parlour — black cats, candles, tarot cards, crystal ball — and the studio got enough success out of it to give the game a Megaways sequel three years later.
Three values in our listing needed correction. The ceiling shown was 5,000x; AboutSlots and ClashOfSlots agree on 1,500x the stake. The error is instructive: 5,000x is precisely the ceiling of Madame Destiny Megaways, the 2021 sequel. The two games share the same series field in our database, and one game's value has evidently propagated to the other. The maximum stake given was 125 €; those same two sources say 50 €. Finally, the release date was set at 9 August 2018.
The 96.50% RTP, by contrast, was correct, and it is confirmed by Pragmatic Play's official page. AboutSlots records 96.49%, a one-hundredth difference of no practical consequence.
The mechanic rests on two symbols and nothing else. Madame Destiny herself is the wild. She substitutes for ordinary symbols and, crucially, any winning combination containing her is multiplied by 2. That is permanently active, from the base game onward, with no condition and no trigger.
The crystal ball plays the scatter role. It pays from two symbols on the reels, which is more generous than the norm, and three or more of them trigger fifteen free spins. Throughout those fifteen spins, every win is multiplied by 3.
It is the crossing of the two rules that makes the game interesting. The wild's multiplier and the free spins' multiplier do not add, they compound: a combination containing a wild during the bonus is paid 2 × 3 = 6 times its table value. Plenty of machines from this generation simply add and would land on 5x; this one multiplies. On the premium symbols, the gap is considerable.
The limits need stating plainly, though. The 3x multiplier is constant: it does not grow from one spin to the next, unlike what newer games do. All fifteen spins play out under identical conditions, and the only variable is what the reels choose to give. Pragmatic does specify that the feature can retrigger with no stated limit, which remains the best way to extend a good run.
The 1,500x ceiling follows directly from that structure. Reaching it means filling the reels with premium symbols during the free spins, with wilds in play to trigger the 6x compounding across several lines at once. It is an attainable target, unlike the five-figure ceilings of modern releases — but it also caps what the best possible session can return.
Stakes run from 0.10 € to 50 € per spin, one cent per line at the minimum. There is no bonus buy and no betting option of the Ante Bet kind: the game dates from 2018, before Pragmatic made those mechanisms standard. Volatility is rated high by both catalogues consulted.
One reservation remains on the date. AboutSlots gives 12 July 2018, ClashOfSlots 19 June 2018. A month separates the two records and no provider source settles it. We keep the former while flagging the disagreement.
