About Thor: Hammer Time
Thor: Hammer Time launched on 1 August 2019, and that date explains almost everything. At that point Nolimit City had not yet registered the mechanics that became its signature. In the BetsRank database, the studio's first title carrying xNudge in its name is Deadwood xNudge, dated June 2020; the first xWays is San Quentin xWays, January 2021; the first xBomb, Fire in the Hole xBomb, March 2021. Thor uses none of them.
The vocabulary is worth restating, since it is exactly what players come to this developer for. xNudge slides a wild up or down until it fills its reel, adding +1 to its multiplier for every step it travels. xWays turns one symbol into a stack of identical symbols, raising the number of ways to win on otherwise fixed reels. xSplit slices every symbol in its row or reel in two, doubling their value; combined with xWays, a symbol already doubled becomes four. Enhancer cells unlock one consecutive win at a time to reveal one of those symbols. None of this exists in Thor.
Here is what the game offers instead, in the wording of the official page. Rune Raze triggers randomly on any spin: every rune on the grid turns into one specific rune. Hammer Time, also random, converts the four high-paying symbols — Ring, Goblet, Axe and Helmet — into Thor's Hammer, the top symbol on the paytable. Scatter Energy Collect fires on two or more scatters: they nudge down one step and respin all reels, repeating for as long as they stay visible. Collecting energy from three scatters opens Asgard Spins. Finally, Thor's Lightning Bonus triggers on its dedicated symbol on reel 5: Thor awards a multiplier, random sticky wilds, or full sticky wild reels, then nudges down and grants a respin.
So the nudge is present, but applied to scatters and to the Thor symbol, never to a multiplier wild. That is the substantive difference from the titles that carry the xNudge branding.
Nolimit City does not publish how long Asgard Spins runs. AskGamblers and Stop and Step both state 10 spins, with each extra scatter adding 2 more. During the round the Thor symbol lands more often on reel 5 and its awards stack on top of each other: that is where 2,328x gets built, and nowhere else.
Now the numbers. RTP is 96.03%, meaning that on €100 wagered the house theoretically keeps €3.97 — below the 96.07% median calculated across the 136 Nolimit titles in our database, though by a margin with no practical consequence. The published hit frequency is 33.35%, and AboutSlots puts bonus entry at one spin in 155: at €0.20 that is roughly €31 wagered before you get in; at €1, roughly €155.
The grid is a 5x3 with 20 fixed paylines and stakes run from €0.20 to €100. The 2,328x ceiling is therefore worth €465.60 at minimum stake, €2,328 at €1, and €232,800 at the maximum. There is no bonus buy, which mechanically removes Thor from the feature-buy debate and keeps it playable in markets that ban the option. Nolimit City rates volatility as high and AboutSlots scores it 8 out of 10; SlotCatalog calls it medium, contradicting both.
