Fangtastic Freespins is a Reel Kingdom development published under the Pragmatic Play brand on 28 October 2024 according to Big Win Board and CasinoWizard — VegasSlotsOnline dates the release to 26 September 2024, a minority reading against which we keep October. The grid is a 5x3 with 10 fixed paylines, half the studio's usual format, and that alone explains much of how the base game behaves.
Begin with the max-win contradiction, since it is documented. Pragmatic Play's official page states that during the feature "the werewolf symbol collects all full moon money symbols on screen, awarding prizes of up to 5,000x". Big Win Board, CasinoWizard, VegasSlotsOnline and CasinoWow all give a 2,100x cap. We keep 2,100x for two reasons: four recognised databases against one marketing page, and above all the game's internal coherence. A money symbol tops out at 2,000x, and the third retrigger automatically pays the max win before closing the feature. A hard 2,100x cap slots into that mechanic; 5,000x has no room in it. The BetsRank database previously showed 10,000x, a figure we have corrected.
The feature opens on 3, 4 or 5 scatters, for 10, 15 or 20 free spins. That is where the game changes character. Full moon money symbols land carrying a random value between 2x and 2,000x the total bet — meaning a single symbol at the top of its range already represents 95% of the game's entire ceiling. The werewolf wild appears only during free spins, substitutes for every symbol except the scatter and the money symbols, and collects every value on screen.
Each wild adds one spin to the counter, and each money symbol collected pays 1x the bet into the Blood Bank, a meter accumulating above the reels. Every six wilds collected, the feature retriggers: eight extra spins and payment of the accumulated Blood Bank. The first retrigger applies a x2 multiplier to what follows, the second a x3, and the third awards the max win and ends the round. The ceiling is therefore not a limit reached by accumulation: it is a scheduled event, fired by the eighteenth wild collected.
Two options change the stake. The Ante Bet costs 50% more per spin and improves free spin trigger odds; Pragmatic Play publishes neither the RTP of that version nor any figure for its effect on frequency, so we conclude nothing from it. The bonus buy costs 100x the bet, meaning €10 at minimum and €25,000 at maximum stake, and it is banned in the United Kingdom. One comparison is worth making: Big Win Board puts natural bonus entry at one spin in 108, so 108x of stake committed on average. The buy costs 100x. The two numbers are nearly identical, but those 108 spins also return base-game wins along the way — the comparison informs, it does not settle anything.
The remaining figures are harsh. Hit frequency is given as one spin in 7.89 by Big Win Board, 12.7% of rotations: with only ten paylines that is arithmetically expected. The default RTP of 96.51% sits exactly on the 96.50% median calculated across the 634 Pragmatic Play titles in the BetsRank database, but operator variants exist at 95.52% and 94.54%, and CasinoWizard reports one at 92.02% while adding that the lower versions are the ones most commonly served. From 96.51% to 92.02%, house margin moves from €3.49 to €7.98 per €100 wagered: it more than doubles. Stakes run from €0.10 to €250, and 2,100x is worth €210 at minimum stake, €2,100 at €1 and €525,000 at maximum.
