About Dead Riders Trail
Dead Riders Trail is an in-house Relax Gaming title, released on 24 August 2022 according to SlotCatalog. The studio's own page does not publish that date: it lists only a Romanian market launch on 14 September 2022. The BetsRank database carried March 2023, a wrong value we have corrected.
The grid runs 6 reels by 6 rows, and it starts dirty. Stone blocks occupy positions and cut down the number of combinations actually available. A win forms with at least 3 matching symbols on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost reel. Any block touched by a winning symbol is destroyed, freeing the position and increasing the ways count for the rest of that same spin. The theoretical ceiling is 46,656 ways, which is 6 to the power of 6: six possible symbols on each of the six reels, grid fully cleared. That figure is a reward, not a starting state. The wild is called Route 666 and substitutes for all standard pay symbols.
Clearing every block during a base game spin triggers the Feature Wheel, which offers only four outcomes: 4 free spins, 7 free spins, Bonus Trail or Super Bonus Trail. The spread is blunt — two short exits, two serious ones.
During free spins, a random number of bombs is attached to the stone blocks. A bomb that goes off clears the entire reel, and every symbol on that reel becomes identical. Clearing the whole grid again adds 3 spins. Players can also gamble their 4 or 7 spins for a shot at the Bonus Trail.
The Bonus Trail is the best-built part of the game. The board holds 46 spaces. You start with a 0x multiplier and three moves in reserve, and each turn advances 1 to 6 spaces. Landing on a fuel can resets the counter to three, which can make the feature run a very long time. Silver trucks deliver eight possible results: a direct 25x to 50x cash win, a Sniper that doubles the value of 3 to 6 tiles, a Payer that adds 3x to 10x to every tile, a Two-Knife that adds 50x to 200x to two to four tiles, a Refuel worth 2 to 4 cans, a Shoot Back that copies the running total onto 1 to 3 tiles, a Collect of the 4 nearest tiles, and a Collect All. Gold trucks turn the Sniper, Payer or Two-Knife into a persistent effect applied on every move, and guarantee a Collect All. Completing a full lap adds 3x to every normal tile plus one fuel can. Tile value is capped at 1,000x the stake. The Super Bonus Trail changes exactly one thing: the silver truck closest to the starting point becomes a gold truck.
Now the numbers. Base game RTP is 96.20%, meaning the house keeps 3.80 for every 100 staked across a very large number of spins. The three buys — 50x for the Wheel, 90x for the Bonus Trail, 250x for the Super Bonus Trail — run at 96.50%, so 3.50 per 100. Buying is marginally cheaper here than spinning. The official Relax page also flags a German variant at 90.00%: RTP depends on the market, so check it inside the game. Stakes run from 0.20 to 20; the database claimed a 50 maximum, another value we corrected. Max win is 50,000x: 10,000 at 0.20, 50,000 at 1, and 1,000,000 at 20. Across the 36 Relax games listed at BetsRank, that puts it level with Money Train 2 and Iron Bank, behind Money Train 3 at 100,000x and Money Train 4 at 150,000x. Feature buys are banned in the United Kingdom.
