Released on 8 April 2025, Blood Diamond is a Nolimit City game that makes no attempt to invent one more mechanic: it takes xNudge, the studio's most recognisable trademark, and surrounds it with a chained-reel system. The grid is a 4-4-4-4-4 — five reels of four cells — with 1,024 fixed ways that never move, in base play or in bonus. That is unusually stable for this studio. The xNudge® Wild works on the house principle: the wild is stacked, it slides up or down until it fully covers its reel, and every cell crossed adds +1 to its multiplier. When several xNudge Wilds land on the same spin, their multipliers add together to form the win multiplier. Chained Reels are the game's real distinguishing feature. Two or more reels become linked, and identical symbols then land side by side across them. On a ways grid the effect is mechanical: a symbol filling two chained reels immediately creates combinations the grid would never otherwise produce. Stacked symbols reach up to four positions tall, which makes the event frequent. xNudge® Desire is grafted on top of that. It triggers at random and adds 1 to 5 xNudge Wilds to the reels. Combined with Chained Reels, it places those wilds across every linked reel at once, and that overlap is where the big multipliers come from.
