Beheaded in detail
Released on 18 June 2024, Beheaded is one of the Nolimit City machines that uses none of the studio's usual trademarks: no xWays, no xNudge, no xSplit. Instead there is a 4-4-4-4-4 grid — five reels of four cells — running a connected-ways system that climbs to 178 combinations, and a cascade mechanic called Cut Reel: every win removes the symbols involved, the ones above drop down, new ones arrive from the top. Those removed symbols don't vanish into nothing, they fill a five-level progression bar. A medium symbol is worth 1 point, a high symbol 2, a wild 3. The first level asks for 15 points, the fifth demands 110. Every level cleared permanently converts medium symbols into high ones for the rest of the round: the grid gets richer as you empty it. The three Soul Wilds unlock along that bar. Happy shows up at level 1 after 4 souls collected and creates a 1x1 wild zone with no multiplier. Sad arrives at level 3 for 10 souls, in a 2x2 zone with an x2 multiplier. Angry waits until level 5 and 18 souls, lays down a 3x3 zone and applies x3. They stack with one another on the same cascade. Two free spin modes close the system. Ayahuasca Spins hand over 6 rounds and swap three medium symbols for three high ones. Tzantza Spins give 10 and replace every medium symbol. When Tzantza Spins end without the maximum win, Pick A Potion offers a blunt choice: the butterfly bottle pays 5 to 8,000 times the base bet, the skull bottle puts everything back on the table for a shot at 15,950x. The headline RTP is 96.03%. Nolimit City also ships tiers at 94.12%, 92.04% and 87.01% — that last figure deserves a systematic check in the rules before you play.
