About Barn Festival
Barn Festival was released in March 2022. Our entry carried 1 January 2024, a characteristic placeholder value: it has been corrected. Sources differ slightly on the exact day — Bigwinboard says 31 March, other databases 17 March, which matches the usual gap between an exclusive release and wide distribution. The setting is a village fair at the farm, with pigs, cows and scarecrows.
The grid is a 6×5 — six reels, five rows — and not a 5×3 as our database claimed. There are no paylines: the game runs on pay anywhere, and you need eight or more matching symbols anywhere on screen to collect. The "20 lines" in our entry corresponded to nothing.
Every paying combination triggers a tumble: winning symbols disappear, the next ones drop in, and the chain continues as long as a new group of eight forms.
The heart of the game is the Money symbols. They land carrying a random value between 1x and 500x the total stake, and their behaviour depends on how many there are.
When exactly three of them appear on the same spin or tumble, their values turn into multipliers, are added together and applied to the total win. One rule is worth knowing: if the spin produces no win, those multipliers are not lost — they are held in reserve and applied to the next win obtained. That is a rare piece of leniency, and it changes how you read seemingly empty spins.
When four or more Money symbols land, the main feature opens: the Money Respin. This point needs to be clear, because our entry spoke of "free spins multipliers": Barn Festival has no free spins. What it has is a respin phase.
It plays out on a grid cut down to 4×5 and awards three respins. Every new symbol that lands locks in place and resets the counter to three. The phase therefore only ends when three consecutive respins bring nothing. Seven types of special symbol circulate then, among them symbols that add value, others that multiply the amounts already placed, others that collect the whole grid, and others still that unlock additional reels — some in persistent variants that stay active until the phase ends.
The reference RTP is 96.45%, the figure Pragmatic Play displays on its own game page, meaning €3.55 of theoretical margin per €100 staked. Two lowered settings circulate, at 95.31% and 94.46%; on the lowest one the margin rises to €5.54, with no on-screen indication.
The volatility sits at the top of the scale, 5 out of 5. That fits the structure: the game pays often — Bigwinboard measures roughly one paying spin in three — but the bulk of the return is concentrated in a feature that does not open often.
Stakes run from €0.20 to €100 per spin. Our entry listed €125, a value that recurs across a great many Pragmatic entries in our database without matching the game concerned; here the real figure is lower.
The ceiling is 20,000x the stake, meaning €4,000 at the minimum stake and €2,000,000 at the maximum. That is the title's real argument: across the 634 Pragmatic Play games listed at BetsRank, the median sits at 10,000x and only 19.1% go beyond that mark. Barn Festival doubles the median. Bigwinboard nonetheless puts the probability of reaching it at 1 in 3,215,434 spins.
Finally, a bonus buy at 100x the stake is genuinely available and triggers the respins directly. It is banned in the United Kingdom.
