About Alpha Eagle
Alpha Eagle, listed by several catalogues under its full title Alpha Eagle Stack'n'Sync, is played on a 5-reel, 4-row grid with 20 fixed paylines. It was released on 22 September 2022, two weeks after Wanted Dead or a Wild and five months after Buffalo Stack'n'Sync, the title that introduced the mechanic.
The Stack'n'Sync principle is easy to describe and heavy in consequence. An S'N'S symbol lands on the grid; the reel containing it is then copied onto up to four other reels, and those reels are stacked with a single symbol type — normal paying symbols, wilds, or free spin symbols. Respins follow with positions locked. All of the game's variance therefore comes down to one question: which symbol got synced.
The Golden Stack'n'Sync variant activates on a gold S'N'S symbol. It stacks all five reels exclusively with high-paying symbols and wilds, then applies a global multiplier from x2 to x100 to the wins collected during the respins. It is the only feature in the game capable of turning a full grid into a genuinely large total.
Free spins trigger on at least 3 scatters during a Stack'n'Sync feature. The award rule is proportional: one free spin per scatter that landed, up to a maximum of 20. That cap of 20 matches exactly the number of positions on a 5x4 grid, which is another way of saying that reaching it requires a complete sync in free spin symbols. Three scatters, conversely, buy only three spins.
The Eagle Link feature needs 3 Claw scatters and runs in two phases. The first collects sticky Eagle symbols, with a respin counter that resets on every new capture. The second grants 3 final respins during which Golden Eagle symbols add spins, the applied multiplier matching the number of Golden Eagles collected.
Default RTP is 96.26%, meaning the house keeps €3.74 of every €100 staked. Each of the four buys carries its own value: 96.27% for the Stack'n'Sync FeatureSpins at 2x stake, 96.34% for the S'N'S Spins at 10x, 96.28% for the free spins at 100x and 96.44% for Eagle Link at 200x. Unlike what many titles do, the most expensive option here is also the best rewarded in theory, eighteen hundredths of a point above the base game. None of these buys is available in the United Kingdom.
Stakes run from €0.10 to €100. The 10,000x ceiling is worth €1,000 at minimum stake, €10,000 at €1 and €1,000,000 at the maximum. The recorded hit rate is 29.3%, roughly one paying spin in three and a half. Hacksaw rates volatility 4 out of 5 in its own catalogue but no longer publishes a detailed info page for this game: the RTP, the paylines, the hit rate and the release date all come from specialist databases rather than from the studio.
