8 Golden Dragon Challenge: eight machines inside one machine
8 Golden Dragon Challenge was released on 18 September 2023, after an initial exclusivity window earlier that month. The game is developed by Reel Kingdom, the partner studio Pragmatic Play distributes under its own catalogue. The grid announced by the supplier runs five reels by three rows, crossed by ten fixed paylines. Stakes span 0.10 € to 250 € per spin, and the reference return figure is 96.02%. The base game is deliberately bare. Dragon symbols in various colours occupy the top of the paytable, and wins arrive at a frequency measured at once every 6.38 spins. That is regular, but the amounts stay small: this title's mechanic does not live there. Three scatters, positioned on reels 1, 3 and 5, open the main feature. The screen then gives way to a three-by-three area holding eight mini slot machines, all launching at the same time. Each shows either a dragon symbol or a blank. Machines that produce a result stay active and go again; those that do not lock permanently. The round therefore advances by elimination, until the last machine closes. Three adjacent dragons on the reels additionally award a respin, allowing a flagging sequence to be extended. The Envelope Bonus is the culmination of the whole apparatus. A final point of caution concerns the RTP. The official sheet shows 96.02%, but Pragmatic Play also ships versions at 95.01% and 94.02%.
