About 10 Flaming Bisons
10 Flaming Bisons was released by Push Gaming on 11 December 2024. It is the title that launched the studio's bison series, ahead of 10 Cash Bisons in August 2025 and the Christmas variant 10 Santa's Reindeers.
Starting format: 5 reels, 3 rows, 20 paylines. The Push-Up feature lets you add rows for an extra stake. On 5x4, the stake is multiplied by 2.5 and paylines rise to 30. On 5x5, the stake is multiplied by 5 and paylines climb to 40. During free spins the grid can open all the way to 5x7 and 60 paylines.
Here lies the point most spec sheets copy across incorrectly. Unlike 10 Cash Bisons, where the RTP stays identical whatever the grid, the Push-Up on 10 Flaming Bisons changes the return figure. Push Gaming publishes three distinct values: 96.26% in the base configuration, 96.46% on 5x4 and 96.31% on 5x5. The curve is not monotonic: it rises, then falls back. This machine's best theoretical return therefore sits at the middle tier, not the most expensive one. In money, the gap between 96.26% and 96.46% means 20 cents less left with the casino per 100 wagered — small, but always in the right direction, and rare enough to be worth flagging.
Do watch what the Push-Up does to the amount committed, though. The base stake runs from 0.10 to 100. With the 5x5 tier, one spin costs five times that, up to 500. SlotCatalog accordingly shows a "0.10 – 500" range where other databases stop at the base ceiling. Both figures are accurate; they simply are not measuring the same thing.
On the symbols side, the bisons carry values and pay instantly as soon as 4 of them land, on a scale running from 2x to 1,000x the stake. Some bisons are fixed jackpots: Mini 15x, Minor 50x, Major 500x and Mega 5,000x. That last figure is worth pausing on, because the game's maximum win is 5,602x. The Mega jackpot alone therefore accounts for nearly 90% of the ceiling. The practical conclusion: on this machine the big win is not an accumulation of tumbles or multipliers, it is a jackpot that lands or does not.
Free spins trigger with 3 totems or more: 3 award 8 spins, 4 award 10, 5 award 12. During the feature, extra rows unlock as winning spins accumulate, on an announced progression of +3, +2, +2 then +1, up to the 5x7 layout. The bonus buy is offered at 75x the stake, which sits at the low end of what the studio charges elsewhere.
One last thing to watch. Beyond the three grid-linked RTPs, Push Gaming ships degraded versions to operators: 94.47%, 88.17% and 85.33%. The last two are indefensible — at 85.33%, the house margin rises to 14.67 per 100 wagered, four times that of the official build. The installed value is printed in the game rules, and that is the first screen to open before staking anything.
